In trying to pull up your site, this is all I get

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jcgergencollection/

Then a listing of the files within the genealogy_html directory -

* Parent Directory
* Cemetery Links
* Churches
* German news-zee notes
* Guestbook
* History
* Ostfriesland Links
* People
* Photos
* Stories

This would seem to indicate that an index.htm or index.html does NOT
exist for this site. The directories appear to be empty except for
<http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Ejcgergencollection/German%20news-zee%20notes>German
news-zee notes

when naming your files, don't use spaces and use all lowercase
letters. If you want to separate the words, use a hyphen or underscore.
