This is for Debbie who is having trouble understanding how to download files.
Try going to this web-site: http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu./tut/tut1.html
Someone from Rootsweb suggested it to me a couple of years ago. I knew nothing about HTML or anything. All I knew was I had alot of stuff I wanted to share. This is a how to program, costs nothing. You download the course and work at your own pace. You'll learn all the basic's, step by step, including how to attach pictures, color for pages and color for links. You will create a file as you go through the steps. As dumb as I am, it only took about a week for me to figure it out enough to do my pages.
If you like, you can take a look at my site and see what you can do with this course. It is not fancy, but I like it.

As far as your family tree goes, if it is that important for you to show your line, what ever progran you are using, convert which ever files you want to descendant lines. Then you can download each line as a HTML for your website. I did that for my site but I still made a link to Rootsweb for my entire family tree.
Don't get discouraged, don't delete the course, but use it for reference when you get started on your site. It really helps.
Good Luck
Barbara
