Please check the directions at the bottom of your own post! ie:

"To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to
with the word "unsubscribe" without the
quotes in the subject and the body of the email with no additional text."

I copied that from the bottom of the post you sent to the list. :-)

Writing to the list is not the way to unsubscribe - it just clutters up other
peoples' mail boxes. Directions can also be found at
http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/RootsWeb_Support/Freepages-Help.html and
in the email you were sent when you joined, which you should have kept in a safe
place for just such a time when it was needed.
