This is in response to Donation requests.
We are probably talking about the same website on freepages, that I just looked at. Every page link has the request for donations. ( I realize that not everyone has the funds to purchase copies of documents from various sources. That's why you pace yourself, do alittle at a time. There are many people out there who are willing to do random acts of kindness, for you.) Also, what, at first thought was a link to another website, appears to be just another page on the authors freepages website, that is selling books on genealogy. She states she has transcribed them, and are available in Book form or cdrom. Now call me stupid, but isn't that considered "commerical use"? I realize the books she is selling are all for "informational use" as she states, but it is still for profit. The idea behind freepages, is to share your research with others. I realize that most of use would love to have a copy of a certain county's records or cemetery records, but have them contact you for more !
information, if you feel the need to "sell" your research, rather than share it and use up freepages space, for your gain.
Sorry, I just felt the need to add my two cents worth on this subject.
