Subject: [FreeHelp] Very small screens - Palms & Pocket PCs

Does anyone have current data on how many visitors to Rootsweb and/or
Frontpages websites use small screen devices?

Until now I have ignored designing for the small screens, figuring that few
such visitors would be browsing my website. Some research in online
resources for PDAs (personal digital assistants) confirms that most
genealogists would be using these devices for reference purposes (ie.
accessing the owner's database or notes) rather than new research.

However, I know that if it can be done (surfing the internet with a palm
pilot, pocket PC, internet-accessible phone, etc.), someone will be do it.
As these devices become more common and their browsers more capable, that
percentage may increase...

Has anyone here looked at their or another's Freepages website using such a
device?
