PDF files have been acceptable on freepages for a long time now.

PDF Files have never been acceptable at rootsweb.com's freepages. Although,
some people went ahead and used them. I believe sometime last year that the
system was adjusted so that pdf formats could not be uploaded.

I'm having trouble uploading a PDF file to my freepages.

I use the WS_FTP program. This size of the pdf file is 1,819 kb.
It uploads about 60% stops and I get the error messege "receive
error connection reset"

I've never had any problem uploading pdf files in the past.
I've even turned off my firewall and still get the message

any suggestions would be greatly apppreciated in how to solve this problem.
