You cannot delete the parent directory. The reason you are seeing it
is that you do not have an index.htm or index.html file uploaded.
Your should be able to recreate a site and upload it to the server.
Try just publishing an index.htm/l file to your space and see what
happens. If you want me to take a look at it, contact me off list and
I'll try and help. Will not be up much later tonight as it is after
eleven here.
