FrontPage includes can be used with or without frontpage server
extentions BUT without the extensions, you need to republish ALL
pages the include page is included with. A way to get around that
using the rootsweb servers is to use ssi - server side includes.
On this site http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~imfa/home.html
the side menu is done using ssi http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~imfa/nav.txt
as is the footer http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~imfa/footer.txt
So you could set the email up like that rather than a fp include.
The disadvantage to me is that I can not see them while I am working
on the page but it works.
