You asked me if I really think the space given to us to use will be here X
years from now... Yes, I do.
The more info on rootsweb.com, the more people use it, the more exposure
ancestry.com gets, so the more memberships they sell...so again yes I do...

I too have been here, (Using rootsweb.com since 1998) a while. But, I intend
to send a copy of my research to the Mormon Temple Library to be filmed too.
So that I know my research will not be lost.

And no I'm not Mormon..or The Church of Jesus Christ of the Ladder Day
Saints. (Real name)...

I agree with the other lady... posting information on living people,
although, the information may be out there such as phone books and such: is
still tempting fate on identify thieft.

But using a little of the "OLD FASHIONED" way of doing genealogy, such as
writting letters to people telling them about your website... (old phone
books are good for this) is a way to contact others who might become
interested in helping with the study...

Now, I've said enough about it..
except to thank Rootsweb and Ancestry.com for the space they have freely
given me....
