The only thing I don't like about sending my family info to LDS is the fact
that they baptize every name given to them. They do large groups at one
time. This is often upsetting to those in families who are ardent
Catholics, Jews, Baptists, Methodists, etc. etc. (any religion), because,
rightly so, they feel they have already been baptized in their churches and
that a re-baptism is not only wrong but insulting. Again, folks view it as
a personal boundary that gets violated when a body like LDS "baptizes them"
absentia, and with no right given to the living person to say yes or no.
My strong German Brethren and Scots-Irirish Presbyterian ancestors of the
1700-1800's would want to chastise me royally if I sent their names
(LOL)...and the living persons would never speak to me again.
