Custom tags are a problem with any genealogy program PAF and FTM are the two
biggest programs on the planet, both create html and both can import and
export to and from one another and others...

When you start using programs that are not industry standard you are bound
to run into such issues, especially since they use their own custom
non-standard tag extensions to the gedcom specification...

Stick with either PAF or FTM and you will never have any trouble...
PAF is free, FTM cost $ and you frequently have to update it...
