this editing the hard code for the guestbooks ... does this also effect the
"mail merge" forms too ? ?

mail merge ... i.e. the family group sheets, that people submit on my
freepages site, is what I am referring to ... been quite some time since I
have received one, so don't know if it's working or not "/
