appreciated.

I am reluctant to delete the "home" page because many regulars have it book
marked. Also external sites have links to it.

Are you saying that if a visitor accesses the index page, then surfs about
and eventually uses the navigation back to the home page, that it will
register 2 hits?

Would I be better having the counter on the home page under a different
name?

Does it register hits on any of the other pages, either when first accessed
or through surfing about?
