I am finding that by using free templates and Kompozer, I can get by with very little knowledge of HTML or CSS, and get professional looking pages. If I need help, there is always the forums at http://www.w3.org/ (the world wide web consortium, who sets the standards for coding) to get me through the problem.

In the process, you learn a lot without having to take courses and you also get nifty websites.
