I have been transcribing cemeteries for a web site and I use tables with a name column, date of birth column, date of death column and a comment column. In the comments, I add any genealogy info, such as s/o ____, d/o __, any inscriptions on the stone. I have added pictures, but usually only my own family.
In the headerI put the name of the cemetery, the general location, gps cooridinates, who did the survey and when it was done. I also give directions , so that someone that wants to visit the cemeteries can do so. I then make comments as to the condition, etc.
NAME OF CEMETERY (CENTERED)
COUNTY AND STATE
LOCATION
DIRECTIONS
GPS COOR
WHO DID SURVEY AND WHEN
COMMENTS
I CAN SEND YOU A SAMPLE OF ONE PRIVATELY IF YOU WANT THE URL.

I have finally began using my site as it should be used and want some ideas (and hope I have posted this question in the correct place) as I have taken over 10,000 tombstone photographs and have placed the majority of them on findagrave.com.
Thus far, I have about 3 cemeteries transcribed on my site and am wondering whether most of you post the cemetery photos as well or just post those that are family or not at all if they are posted elsewhere on the web.
Before I end this posting, I want to give a HUGE THANKS to Pat Geary without whom I couldn't have even begun this site!! I still have much to learn and am taking little baby steps into adding to this website.
