Pat,

I take your point about it being a time-out error. However, I downloaded a
trial version of the same Contribute programme that I use to another
computer - and exactly the same thing happened. I have written to
Contribute, no reply so far. Does this sound like an incompatibility issue
between Contribute and the Rootsweb server? I don't understand why all was
well one day, and then not, when nothing changed bewteen times. By the way,
Contribute is now telling me I don't have the correct permissions to access
the Rootsweb genealogy folder.

I have downloaded, edited and uploaded a page of my site using Filezilla -
no real problem, although it did struggle to connect me on one occasion.

She is able to connect, but is receiving a time out error.
