The first thing to do is to turn off Windows firewall. If you have
both Symantec and Windows firewall running at the same time, they may conflict.
Next, if you have instructed your browser to cache visited pages, you
may be viewing that cached version. Vist one of the pages you have
updated and use Ctrl+Refresh to force your browser to download a
fresh copy of the page from the server, or empty your cache and then
check the page.
If you still see the old version, tell us what FTP client you are
using, and send us a copy of the session log including any error
messages you receive.
