The simple answer is as you guessed - NO!

Browsers that support CSS3 have the ability to do just as you asked, but
unless you are using Firefox 3.5 beta 4 (or earlier betas) you will not see
it as intended.

However, there is a jQuery method of doing what you want that is supported
by all browsers. Google "jquery rotate" and see what you can find. If you
need help to use this javascript method, ask again.
