fact when I first made pages with tables, uploaded, and ALL my data was
"centered", and I finally figured out that "default" was not what I wanted
or intended. So, for me with *this* program, I must go in an set it to
align=left on every table for cells... Conversely, default for the table
placement is "left" so I change that to "center". Just another of Fp's
quirks."
Remember, viewers will NOT be using FP2000 to see the page, but a browser
such as IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc. If you're saddled with a
misbehaving Web editor, it's the browser view where the HTML defaults will
kick in.
Before uploading, try opening your pages with your browser to see how they
display. You don't want to commit code bloat by introducing extra, unneeded
code; for big tables, that's a lot of overhead.
