?new=0 means new?= no
?new=1 means new?= yes

If you are logged in and/or have allowed cookies, your browser will
remember your choice and deliver it using
http://www.ancestry.com/search/default.aspx

If you have disabled cookies, your browser can't "remember" your
selection. If you have cookies enabled and still can't access the
old search using IE9, then you need to contact Ancestry
Help. http://ancestry.custhelp.com/
They may not have programmed for IE9 yet.
