There are other ways - you can have your genealogy program generate
pages for you, you can use a WYSIWYG program... there's probably others
which I can't think of right now.
Most genealogy programs I've seen have web-page generation
capabilities. But you may not find it adequate for your needs.
WYSIWYG means "what you see is what you get" and it's kind of like using
a word processor to put text and words where you want them, and the
program builds the HTML code in the background. Don't use your word
processor, though - they do a terrible job of it.
I'm using FrontPage, because my computer had it when I wanted to start
working with web pages. There are free programs around - I think I've
seen Komposer recommended here, or others will be along soon with their
suggestions.
