my grandmother told me that my grandfather was native american. However I have doubted this he was born in Georgia and all of the census list him as white. As well as his father and mother Arch and addie. I believe they were Archibald M Roy and Addie Knott. I am having a lot of difficulty finding any information on them. Their children are listed as Joseph, Harry, Marvin, Lucille, Rubie, Perry, Marie, James, John, Allen, and Wesley. Any info would be appreciated. My feeling is that maybe she was wishing this prospect.
