I still favor leaving the old one in the cemetery, placed at ground level on
top of the grave, inscription up, like a grave cover...
Sorry about your hubby, and I think it is great about your buying his
grandmother one...Back in former days, only the rich had money enough to buy
inscribed markers...That is why the VA provides them now, to ensure that all
Veteran's graves are properly marked....
