Jasper County Deed Book, May 11, 1808, page 22, records stock marker
applications for Christopher Baker and James Baker. Baldwin County
Marriages, 1806-1850, records Charles Baker and Ceclia Clark
married 1 Aug 1815 and Rev John W. Baker and Charlotte W. Shissard
married 16 Feb 1837. My Baker Family also includes the Loyall
Family of Jasper and Baldwin County. There are connections among the
Talmadges, Terrells and Bakers, early inhabitants of the area
between Milledgeville and Monticello. I would appreciate ANY clues
that would help identify these Bakers and locate their home place,
especially James and Christopher Baker of the 1808 reference. Thank
