I am looking for information on William Jefferson Bell, born 1857 in Macon,
Georgia. William's father was a surgeon in the Civil War and died in 1863 or
1864. His mother was Rachel Bell, born 1830 in So. Carolina, she and William
went back to live with her family and used her maiden name after the death of
William's father. She was the oldest child in her family and some of her
seven sibling were Joe Bell, Anne Bell, and Neelie Bell.
