I am looking for info on the family of Pate Washington Harris and Bytha Delilah Bailey. Pate was born 25 Dec 1875 in Bibb County, Georgia and died 08 June 1953 in Plant City, Hillsborough County, Florida. Bytha was born 14 July 1880 in Georgia and died 02 April 1952 in Parrish, Manatee County, Florida while visiting her daughter. They are buried in Oaklawn Cemetery in Plant City, FL.
They had the following children: Dora Harris, Leona Harris, Elizabeth Harris, Bytha Harris, Edward James Harris, Roy H. Harris, Lillie Bell Harris (born in Aushburn, GA), Annie Harris, Clyde Harris, Earnest Sebron Harris and William Henry Harris. All the children were born in Georgia. The family later moved to Florida.
At the time of Pate's death he had 2 brothers living: John Harris of Gray, Georgia and Jeff Harris of Bradenton, Manatee County, Florida.
At the time of Bytha's death she had 1 brother living: John Bailey of Keuka, Putnam County, Florida.
Pate's parents were William Harris and Emaline Ashby or Ashley.
Bytha's parents were Sebron Bailey and Bytha Wall(s).
I have not been able to find this family in any Georgia census.
Any help, suggestions or info on this family would be greatly appreciated.
