I am looking for an Elija? A. Evans
that possibly deserted the 66th Regiment of GA, Bibb Co. Infantry.
He would later marry my ancestor Dollie S.C.Townsend
in Texas and have four daughters, one of which was my great-grandmother
Laura Irene Evans Bates.
Any information on the other 3 daughters or Elijah would be greatly appreciated.
