The caption reads:

Rankin family Holds Reunion in Macon
Members of the well-known Macon family of Rankins gathered Friday at the home
of Miss Issie Rankin, 521 Johnson Avenue. They came from far and near and here
are some of them. On the front row, left to right, are Tommy Rankin, Edward
Wise, Miss Issie Rankin, Mrs. R. W. Dean, Martha Wise, Mary Louise Wise, Mrs.
T. W. Rankin, Mrs. Joe Bridges, T. J. Rankin, Emily Ruth Wise, Mrs. W. H.
Hatcher, G. P. Rankin Sr., Mrs. T. J. Rankin and B. M. Rankin. Others, starting
at left and reading across, are T. W. Rankin, the Rev. W. C. Bryant, Joe
Bridges, Mrs. F. A. Ratcliffe, George Rankin, Jr., Mrs. E. M. Wise, Mrs. Bill

Additional Comments:
This clipping was in some old papers of my Grandmother & Grandfather Chancellor.
Miss Issie Rankin was his first grade teacher and lived in Sofkee. There is no
date on the paper, but it seems to be early 1940's.
