Hello all!
I hope you're having a great Spring!
I am still working on gathering information about schools at all levels that
have ever been located in Bibb County.
Currently, most of my info in my own resources comes from a source that ends
in 1879, so I do need to gather more from later dates.
If anyone is willing to assist with this, please let me know.
I will post the list of schools I have again for you to see or add to.
Remember that the list and website are intended for all of us to share our
information and everyone is invited to share.
Documentation is needed for proper referencing.

Info has already posted on the Bibb County GA GenWeb site for the Bibb
Academy.
Wesleyan College and Mercer University are in the works.

We would like to have a list of alumni from these schools if they are no
longer living.
Please indicate which county they came from.
I will post both non-Bibb countians and locals, as this info may help other
researchers.
Years of attendance and graduation info would be nice as well.

Here is the list I have of Bibb County schools again.
PLEASE save this for reference.

Wesleyan College (formerly Georgia Female College, and Wesleyan Female
College)
I would love to have a history of this school since 1879 which
is the cut -off date for my own notes.

Congregation Beth Israel

Bibb County Board of Public Education and Orphanage
Bibb County Public School System

Appleton Church Home
Episcopal Church provided care and education for indigent
orphans and others

Georgia Academy for the Blind
