This is what I know from growing up in Macon. There use to be an area in Macon called Union. There used to be a Union School and I believe they tore it down and put a grocery store I think "foodmax". Anyway behind that store is a church and it has a small graveyard. The church is close to where Log Cabin and Thomaston Rd intersect. I'm not sure if this is the information you need or not but while reading your message this is what I thought of. I hope it helps.
