Mr. Orestes Leon Kelly, 77, of Mitchell, died 1/11/1955, at University
Hospital, Augusta
Born: Glascock Co., GA
Parents: The late J. C. Kelly and Mrs. Felecia Lasseter Kelly, natives of
Glascock Co.
College: Alabama Business College, Montgomery, AL.
Occupation: banker, extensive farming interest.
Member: Mitchell Methodist Church, a steward for a number of years, and a
member of the Masonic Lodge. Served on the Glascock Co. board of education,
state senator from Glascock in 1913 and 1914.
Funeral: Mitchell Methodist Church 1/14/1955, Rev. C. E. Croft, Rev. Grady
Oates, Rev. Bowen.
Burial: Mitchell Cemetery

Wife-Mrs. Gertrude Kitchens Kelly
