Hello list, I have an old appendix on the Foster family from Arthur Foster born. 1732 VA and his wife Martha Collier Foster, From there I have a John Foster "Son" m to Elizabeth Savage Foster in Columbia Co, Ga. and there 1st child was James Foster m to Mary E."Hill" Foster they were m on May 19,1807 in Abbeville County S.C. and in the fall of 1818 they moved with there family's to Tuscaloosa Co.Al. and formed what is know to day as Foster Al. and from there it talks about the Fosters in Union Spring Al.and the Fosters from Ga. and the old Arthur Foster from Bibb but it don't say if it was Bibb Co Ga. or Bibb Co. Al. and I have no outher info to this ??? The Fosters in Union would have been Dr. James Sterling Foster but I have found no connection to this either ?? Thanks Jim Foster Al.
