Ramona: I recieved your message as to ages, dates, and race of the Johnsons. This is what I know: Charlie Jacob Johnson was born Jun 1896 in Barney. I found him in the 1900 census listed as Charley. His father,George A., was born abt 1854 in Brooks County. I'm going to assume that he was also born in Barney.His wife was listed in 1900 census as Rosa. George's father was James C. Johnson born 29 aug 1818 in South Carolina and died abt 1903 in Brooks, GA. His wife was Sidney L. James' father was Paul Johnson, born abt 1790 in SC and died in Brooks conty in 1862. He was a Methodist Minister as was James. Their race was caucasion. Thank you for your help. Chris Green
