I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. I have been researching my Lane family genealogy for many years. [FYI One of my Lane relatives, Essie Lee, was married to Wiley Ivy Kennedy.] My John Lane [1839-1921]and Martha Gill Lane had 9 children that I have identified. Most lived their lives in Bryan County, in or around Pembroke. Right now I am trying to fill in some information about three of their children: Mary E. Lane m. Solomon Byrd Smith; Martha Cornelia Lane m. Arthur Randolph Floyd; and Augusta Victoria Lane m. S.C. Ward.

For a start, could you look at your references for anything on Mary Lane Smith's children: Solomon, Frederick, Anna E., George Dewey, Leffler, and Lois. They were all born between 1894 and 1911. Married names for the girls would be especially helpful.

An offer of help is especially appreciated since I live in Texas! My mother, Mattie Lee Lane and uncle, L.C. Lane were both born in Pembroke to John Lane's son Charles Valentine Lane.
