Martha, I can tell you what little I know. L.C. Lane was known as "Buck Lane". Probably buried at Northside Cemetery in Pembroke. His wife's name is Leona and lives with her daughter Mary in Macon, GA. Buck & Leona's other children were Loren Clisby "Brother" Lane (deceased), William, Becky, and Lisa. William still lives in Pembroke but I have lost track of the others. Yes, Essie Lane was married to Ivey Kennedy. Both are deceased. Their children were Bonita married to Jack Futch, Delores married to Melvin Spier, and Billy Kennedy married to Jewel Williamson. All still live in Pembroke.
My mother was a Floyd and her brother, Herschell Floyd was married to Estelle Smith whose mother was a Lane, I believe. Estelle also had a sister named Lois who was married to Clayton Blount.
There is a Randolph Floyd buried at Ash Branch cemetery just outside Pembroke (1838-1906) and his wife Mary Ann (1840-1896). This can be viewed at # 270 at http://www.geocities.com/sheeng/ash2.html
