Eula Mae Peacock, 78, of St. Marys died Wednesday at Satilla Regional
Medical Center in Waycross.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St.Marys First Baptist Church
with
the Revs. Keith Harwood and David Lundin officiating. Burial will follow in
Oak
Grove Cemetery in St.Marys.
Pallbearers will be Red Donini, Parnell Crump, Adam Barnes, Trent Tuttle,
Gary Willis, Charlie Smith, Tom Turner, J.R. Jones and James Roberson.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Senior Adult Sunday School
class of St.Marys First Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Edo
Miller-Dekle-Wainwright Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to
the
St.Marys Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Delsie Aldridge of St. Marys; a son, Derrell
Peacock of Debary, Fla.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Peacock was born in Atlanta and grew up in Blackshear. She had lived
in St. Marys since 1951. She was a member of St. Marys First Baptist Church
and
took part in the Eunice Ferguson Sunday School class. She worked for many
years
at Gilman Paper Company, in the Kraft Bag Division, and recently was a greeter
at the Wal-Mart in St. Marys.
