Surname: ROBINSON, MURRHEE

Your Clyde is probably one of the children of my GGF, Robert T. ROBINSON,
but he could have been a descendent of one of Robert's brothers. Robert
was a Baptist, a three term Sheriff of Charlton County, CSA veteran and
he was also of Native American descent (Tuscarora). I descend from one
of Robert's younger sons, Andrew J. ROBINSON, Sr., my grandfather.
Robert was married to Susan MURRHEE, daughter of Edward P. MURRHEE and
Mary SLADE and he was a son of the Hon. James R. ROBINSON, Jr. and Easter
O'STEEN. They lived at the Robinson homeplace on Cornhouse Creek, Charlton
County, GA. Robert had 17 children and most were very prominent in Charlton
County politcs.
