This is my husband surname Degl. I can find nothing on the name at all . except were his father came through Ellis island.
His father was Paul Alfred Degl born in Linz Germany and then his family moved to Frankfort Germany,He came to the USA in early 1920's. My husband didn't know his grandparents name and they never left Germany. His father married his mother Louise Yorascheck, she was born in Massepequa Long Island N.Y.. His grandparents also born in Germany came to USA back in the late 1880's,Charles Yorascheck(?) and Louise Haas (Baden Baden). Does any of this relate to your name. I do have a few more names on the Degl name if you want them advise, If you would like you can email me . Thanks for your reply.
