I have some information on the FLOWERS family that married into our BRYAN and
COLDING family in Barnwell Dist, SC. I suspect that this is part of your
FLOWERS family. This is part of the line of William BRYAN, RS, b ca 1737
Craven Co, NC, sold out his land in Craven in 1773 and received land grant in
Barnwell Dist, SC along with his brother, Simon BRYAN, RS. They married
sisters, Elizabeth MOORE and ANNE MOORE, daughters of Thomas MOORE, Jr.
Jennett Bryan was one of the daughters of William Bryan, RS.

Thanks for all you are doing with the Savannah info. I am planning a trip
there for genealogy research later this year. Perhaps, you can help me.
Do you find most of your info at the Public library or at the Historical
Society?
Do you know if the Savannah Morning News has a Web Site?

I grew up in Pierce Co.(Blackshear) area in the 30's & 40's. The Sav.
Mrn. News was our daily paper and I lived for the "Funnies" each day. All
of my Flowers ancestors lived in and around Liberty, Long ,Wayne,
Tatnnall, Chatham, Bryan, Counties. My GGG/G-F Charles Flowers, Sr. came
from NC by way of SC and settled in Liberty Co. c. 1800-01. The research
I am doing and have been for many years is for a Flowers Family History
book ="THE FLOWERS OF THE WIREGRASS & BEYOND"=.
What I am especially interested in are marriages and Obituaries plus any
other info on allied lines STANDLEY, HEIRS, PRICE, TERRELS, STRICKLANDS,
DURRENCE, CAMERON, EASTERLING

I'll continue to moniter your site. However I would appreciate any advice

PS: Appears to me you are somewhere in FL, where I have "tons" of
kinfolk on both sides of my family......if so where ?? I was born in Jax.
and my only brother lives in St. Augustine.
