It is quite possible that we are connected through the Robertson line. I am
descendended from George L. Robertson who had a brother, James Roberstson.
James possibly had a son Francis H Robertson. I would like to be able to
confirm the relationship between Francis and James. Francis Served during the Civil
War with the brother of George L Robertson, Herbert Robertson.
To complicate the search of the Robertsons in Savannah is the fact that
there were two George Robertsons in Savannah prior to the Civil War. My George
Robertson was an Overseeer on an Ossabaw Island Plantation and had a shop in the
Old City Market. The other George Robertson was an attorney.
I would love to share any information.
