Here is the Obit of William Wesley Henry, son of Isaac and Cecelia HENRY of
Savannah GA.
The obit reads:
MORTUARY
Capt. William Wesley Henry
William Wesley Henry, 60 years of age and for the last 40 years, a member of
the Savannah Pilots' Association, died yesterday morning at 2 o'clock at the
residence 1815 Bernard street, after anĀ illness of several years. He is
survived by his widow, Mrs. W. W. Henry [nee: Minnie Susan Ruth]; one daughter, Mrs.
E. P. Waldeck of Savannah, three sons, T.C., A.E., and W.W. Hwnry; one
grandson, T.C. Henry Jr., and two sisters, Mrs. W.D. Clairbourne and Mis Annie
Henry.
He had not been in active service in the Pilots' Association for the last
fifteen years. He was a member of Forest City Harbor, No. 36, Masters, Mates and
Pilots'; J.O.U.A.M., Resolution Council, and Clinton Lodge of Masons.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the residence of
his daughter, Mrs E.P. Waldeck [Margaret Elizabeth Henry], 1913 Whitaker
street, with interment at Laurel Grove. The Rev. Herman C. Jones, pastor of Grace
Methodist Church, will conduct the services, assisted by the Rev. John S.
Wilder, pastor of the South Side Baptist Church. The pallbearers will be Capt.
Frank W. Spencer and H. M. Fleetwood from the Savannah Pilots' Association, John
S. Thompson, from Forest City Harbor No. 36, Masters, Mates and Pilots; A.F.
Marmelstein, Oglethorpe Lodge, I.O.O.F.; E.A. Wright, from Resolution Council,
J.O.U.A.M., and Waring Russell, from Clinton Lodge of Masons.
