GARDNER E. DICKINSON DEAD.
Had Been in Cotton Business for a Long Period.

Savannah, Ga., March 19-
Gardner E. Dickinson died this morning afer an illness of two weeks. Mr.
Dickinson was head of the cotton factorage firm of Dickinson Company. He was
born in 1867 at Bainbridge, and had been in the cotton business since 1887. He
leaves a widow, who was Miss Georgia Gaston, of Gainesville, and two children
of this union, and a young son of his first wife. The funeral was held
privately soon after his death, the cotton exchange being closed during the
hour of the funeral.
