John Adams, editor of the Taylor County Tracer, the monthly newsletter for
the Taylor County Genealogical Society, is doing a series on early history
of Georgia and especially the events shaping the western counties.

The June issue was 56 pages and covered William Bartram, Benjamin Hawkins
and the Creek Indian Agency up to the War of 1812.

This month's issue continues:
The Federal Road - map and history
Tecumseh's letter to Gov Harrison after Fort Wayne Treaty
Passports through Creek Nation
Letters from Benjamin Hawkins
War of 1812 - Time Line of events Col Hawkins
Officers of companies called into service 1813
Massacre Fort Mims - layout + sketch of massacre
Petersburg Georgia Archealogical Site
Lorenzo Dow's visit 1803
Rev. Hope Hull - father of Georgia Methodism
Newspaper Abstracts 1902 - Taylor County
Obits and news from 1902

There is so much history (including pictures, diagrams, diaries) that I
wanted everyone to be aware of this.

For only $15, you'll get all 12 issues....beginning with January ..so
you'll be able to enjoy this continuing History...

The price is kept low due to some very generous individual who are sponsors
by paying $50.00 a year.
