I've traced back to Thomas Jefferson (T.J.) Woods, burried in the Pennville Cemetery. That's where the trail ends. I've heard that he moved there from Blount Co., Tenn. He was with the S.C. 1st Artillery under Manigault in the Civil War.
Can anyone help fill in some blanks?
