I'm sure this kind of liberal use of customers' credit card info is now the
norm for on-line companies, but unless the customer authorizes automatic
renewal it should be illegal. While I've run into similar abuses with other major
retailers, I've never encountered anything as aggressive and abusive as
genealogy.com. Especially the telephone solicitations and charging me for products I
never ordered.
