Beth, the Clarke Co. Superior Court MINUTE books would have to be read to
find this information - these books are not indexed, but contain a
day-to-day log of the actions in the court. I don't know whether the loose
papers pertaining to this trial may have survived, but there is a project
starting after the first of the year, coordinated by the Athens-Clarke
County Probate Judge's Office & the Athens-Clarke County LIbrary Heritage
Room to catalog the probate records for the 1800s. Hope this might turn up
some loose papers for other courts too!
