I am trying to find the name of Henry Huff's wife. Henry settled on Rose
Creek in Clarke County in 1797 and lived there the rest of his life. His
will, written in 1841, is on file in the Clarke County Courthouse. His sons
were John, Littleberry, Valentine, Leroy, Wiley, and Green. His daughters
were Elizabeth, Sarah, Lona or Leona, Lydia, and Mary. Elizabeth and Sarah
never married. Lona or Leona married Joseph Durham; Lydia married Benjamin
Jones; and Mary married John Hinesley. Some of Mary's descendants still live
in Oconee County. Wiley James Huff, one of Henry Huff's grandsons, raised a
big family in Oconee County, and some of his descendants still live in
Clarke and Oconee. Tommy Huff, who at one time was sheriff of Clarke
County, was one of these descendants. If anyone knows the name of Henry
