Hi Gail; If there is no civil record, try their church! Most church
usually have some form of records whether it be marriage, or funeral
records. This is probably your next best place to try. Good luck with
your research. Some times it take dedication to look in all the
unsuspected places. There is probably information there, it's just a
matter of determination. Say after it!
