There are a number of STONE graves in Oconee Hill Cemetery, in both the old
section and the new, but no Charles or Lorenzo. The VON DER LEITH lot is
just inside the entrance to the historic cemetery & burials date from 1856
to 1920s. No STONE markers in this lot either.

Good luck!

> Hi I am helping my Dad, Ken Stone, look for information on Lorenzo
Stone...his son Charles Stone and Charles' wife, Armenia Woodward. Charles
died in Brooklyn, NY.....but I think he was born in Maine. Does anyone know
of a Lorenzo Stone from that area???? Armenia Woodward was from Rhode
Island. Charles had a son named Benjamin Franklin Stone who married a Mary
Vander Leith. Mary died an unknown death and we are curious to know more
about her as well. Thanks! Email: or
