maternal line is SMITH / TATE
My gt. gt.gt. grandparents according to son Marion Calloway SMITH Death Cerificate has parents J.M and MARY TATE all born GEORGIA
probably in 1830's son Marion born 1851 for sure .

Paternal linage : HURST/ CLARK
another set of my gggt. grandparents CALVIN ELIGAH HURST and WIFE NANCY CLARK HURST
had a son named FIELDING L. HURST
his son was FIELDING JACKSON HURST BORN 1866 in WEBSTER, CO. MISSOURI his Death Certificate has father born ''GEORGIA'' so again they had to be there in late 1830's or 1840's if the death certificates are correct.
I sure would appreciate any info. on any of my ancestors , all roads lead to GEORGIA, also I would like to know about the town in Gilmer Co. Ga. named HURST, GEORGIA
I have had no luck so far.
